Pare Corporation, as part of a multidisciplinary development team, provided consulting services for the initial feasibility studies leading to local approvals for this new hotel and mixed-use project. Pare then provided full engineering design services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Located on America’s Cup Avenue along the Newport waterfront, Hammetts Hotel is an 84-key boutique hotel with mixed-use on the first floor including retail, restaurant, and office spaces, plus a 9,500-SF public deck overlooking Newport Harbor. The new $25 million, 47,000-SF structure opened in the summer of 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Redevelopment of the former Newport Yachting Center site included demolition of an existing two-story building; conversion of a former boat ramp into a stormwater bioretention facility; and improvements to public access, on-site parking, and traffic circulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pare’s services included geotechnical engineering, traffic studies, and full site\/civil design including green infrastructure drainage design and permitting.
