Pare Corporation was retained by the Bristol County Water Authority to complete a visual inspection of this 320-foot long, 19.5-foot high earthen embankment dam. Various deficiencies were noted at the dam and brought to the attention of the Owner with recommendations for additional studies or repairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pare prepared design and construction documents to address excessive vegetation, seepage, slope stability, spillway channel scour, and to restore operability to the low-level outlet in compliance with Massachusetts Dam Safety and MADEP and ACOE regulations. Although part of the BCWA’s water supply system, the pond is located in Rehoboth, MA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pare provided bid phase assistance to secure competitive bids, evaluate those bids and provide award documentation. Pare continued through the construction phase as the construction administrator\/owner\u2019s project manager.
