The new complex was built on the grounds of the former Rhode Island Veterans Home and accommodates different levels of nursing care and expanded rehabilitation services. The $120 million project consists of a 208-bed facility that includes medical, nursing, and rehabilitative care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pare provided engineering design for site and utility improvements, as well as geotechnical engineering, wetlands investigations, environmental permitting, and construction-phase services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before construction could start in earnest, an historic water tower had to be moved.
